Pet Services: Monday – Friday
Visit times: I will visit at the requested times as closely as possible.
...Vaccinations/Immunizations/Flea Control/Spay & Neuter: Talus Dog Walker requires that all pets have the necessary vaccinations and immunizations before service begins. Dogs must be on a once a month flea and tick control program such as Advantage or Frontline. Dogs six months of age or older must be spayed or neutered.
...Leashes, Licenses & Tags: All dogs will be required to be on leash during outdoor walks. Talus Dog Walker strongly encourages clients to maintain or acquire a city license for their dog(s), and recommends pet ID tags. If a fine is imposed for failure to provide a city license, pet ID tag or rabies vaccination tag, the expense will be the owners.
...Other dogs: I will not permit your dog(s) to interact with strange dogs. If stray dogs that are off leash approach, I will do my best to keep interaction at a minimum and move away from them.
...Other Scheduled Services: We all want our pets to have all the love and attention they deserve, but please be advised that if there are other persons entering and leaving your home, Talus Dog Walker cannot be held liable for any damages or problems that may arise as a result. Please inform me at the time of the consultation of anyone who may have access to your home. This includes cleaning services, repair people, friends, family and neighbors. Talus Dog Walker does not accept liability for other persons who will be in your home during pet care services.
...Animal Behavior: Animal behavior can be unpredictable. Talus Dog Walker does not accept responsibility or liability for animal behavior, normal or otherwise, which results in injury to the client’s animals. Further, if the Talus Dog Walker provider is harmed or injured by the client’s animals, the client/owner accepts full responsibility for the cost of any necessary medical attention.
...Fences: Fenced in yards are wonderful playgrounds for our dogs and allow them additional space to exercise and play. However, no fence system is totally secure. Talus Dog Walker does not accept responsibility or liability for any client’s animal that escape or become lost or injured, fatal or otherwise, when instructed to leave the client's animal in a fenced-in area. This includes electronic, wood, metal or any other type of fence.
...Privacy Policy: All of your information will be kept private and confidential. Talus Dog Walker highly respects our clients’ entrusting us with a key to their home and the care of their loving pets.
...Cancellations for Services: 24-hour notice is required prior to the next scheduled visit. Otherwise payment is due for the time originally agreed upon.
...Inclement Weather: I will not drive your pet to any veterinary or grooming appointments during icy or snowy conditions. For walks and potty breaks, if you will not need my services due to a “snow day” please let me know by 8:00 am.
...Payment: Talus Dog Walker accepts cash or checks. Payment is due at the beginning of each week of service. Please make all checks payable to Talus Dog Walker.
...Late Payments: All service fees are due on a weekly basis. Any unpaid balances will accrue a $10 late payment fee every 12 days.
...Returned Check Charges: There is a $35 fee for all returned checks.
