Talus Dog Walker

"A Tired Dog is a Happy Dog"
About Me

In January 2004, my husband and I moved to Issaquah (via Boston, San Francisco and Dallas) with our two yellow labs. In November 2008, we lost Alex at the ripe old age of 16 and in 2006 we lost Queso at age 12 (just heartbreaking to lose them!!). In July 2007, we rescued Tess from the Humane Society. She turned three in April 2010. In October 2008, we added a black lab puppy to our family and named him Milo.  Simply put ~ our dogs are our children!

My 16 year career as a dental hygienist ended due to a neck injury. I continued to work in the dental field, but found myself struggling to work a full-time schedule with dogs at home that I felt needed more time, attention and exercise. Since I know the demands of a career do not always fit with the demands of a dog, I decided to start a business that will ease your mind and exercise your beloved pup.

I am licensed, bonded and insured and work in the Talus neighborhood and Issaquah. My goal is to give your dog the walk he deserves. I will only do individual/private walks so my time is not spent picking up, dropping off or untangling all the dogs in a group. Your dog will have my undivided attention so our time is catered to him, which means we will enjoy the kind of walk he needs. Since we lost Alex at age 16, our three babies had very different walking abilities. Alex was so happy to be outside, but she could not go far or fast and she LOVED to sniff (I would call it more of a sniff than a walk). Tess and Milo could walk for miles or enjoy a long day hike, so I catered to them individually, which is what I will do for your loved one. I also offer drop off or pick up at vet or grooming appointments and puppy visits/potty breaks so you spend your work hours knowing your dog is exercised and happy and your weekends and evenings free from dog appointments.

Thank you!
